Job Specification
• Experience: Paints and coatings industry or B2B industry environment. Extensive experience in commercial roles, sales and key account management.
• Education: Bachelor Degree in Chemistry or Business Management related field.
• Exposure & Competency: Leadership, stakeholder management, project management, decision making, creating value propositions, drive, results orientation, communication and presentation, commercial and business acumen, basic understanding of cross functional processes and financial concepts related to sales and cost to serve, internal/external networking and relationships building, delivering business strategy through tactical account plans, team influence without line management authority
Job Description
* Develop relevant commercial pipeline for target accounts, creating and executing Key Account Plans for them, aligned with Spec Team Plan, Sales Team and Regional Segment & Marketing plans. Contribute to reach regional segment targets in the geographical area of responsibility.
• Support local sales activity, by identifying medium and long term opportunities and getting required specification position.
• Linking contract chain through collaboration with other teams (e.g. Sales teams, GKAM) to secure key projects and opportunities in CAT & ECE.
• Provides input in developing market segment sales strategies on regional level.
• Support roll-out sales / business development programs (including sales process-related knowledge and tools) and implement corporate projects such as CRM and IBP.
• Be a focal point for market information, expertise and analytics for the market segment in the area of responsibility.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams including relevant external stakeholders to prioritize new developments, make plans for trials, etc.
• Provide support and leadership to sales, customer services and technical teams by showing vision, putting in resources to ensure high service levels and operational efficiency
• Drive Continuous Improvement across the organization to generate value to customers – Forecast, Service, capability, efficiency and productivity
• Contribute to and provide input for Market Intelligence, New product development, IBP and CRM
