Job Purpose

The Inside Sales Representative ecommerce will be responsible for selling and supporting the segment and associated end-users accounts. This individual will also develop phone-based revenue generation through the creation of sales leads, initiation of prospect calls, and through establishing business relationships with existing and potential customers. This role will specifically drive the e-commerce sales channel.

 

Candidate must be located in Nashville, TN as this is a hybrid position.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with local sales teams and management to determine necessary strategic sales approaches within specific markets.
  • Maintain and expand the CRM database of current and future prospects.  All communication, customer data and sales activity to be captured within CRM.
  • Drive sales through e-commerce platform. 
  • Develop and maintain process improvements for lateral growth within the transactional customer base.
  • Monthly reporting analysis on buying trends within the ecommerce platform.
  • Data entry for customer information updates within SAP, CRM and Magento platforms.
  • Identify and manage accounts that require higher levels of service to move up the chain of service levels.
  • Execute a high level of digital campaigns through email blasts targeting customers in different market segments.
  • Collaborate with Regional and Global Marketing segments to develop sales campaigns while quantifying the response rates of the campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain process for identifying customers Market Segmentation based off of product purchases and trends.
  • Develop short- and long-term strategies for online sales.
  • Continuous improvement of Web Store functionality feedback through ongoing analysis and customer feedback.
  • Manage cold-call prospects that are generated by external sources of lead.  Emphasize product/service features/benefits, and overall program terms.  Overcome objections and ensure follow-up by passing leads to sales teams with task generation tracking within our CRM system.  Measure and track follow-up.
  • Set up and deliver sales/marketing messages through telephone and/or online methods to customers to improve their knowledge of products/offerings.
  • Look for opportunities to cross-sell and/or up-sell situations to gain sales commitments.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent of 7 years commercial experience.
  • 3+ years commercial or customer interfacing experience
  • 2+ years SAP experience
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS office and computer technology
  • Practical experience in web-based marketing and digital tools (especially Google analytics and social media platforms)
  • Customer service orientation and leadership/influencing skills
  • Navigates effectively in a changing environment where competing priorities require flexibility and agility
  • Detail oriented, highly motivated, and likes to be challenged
  • Ability to connect processes from multiple software programs relating to customer interface and data management.
  • Must be able to participate and complete a qualitative and quantitative respirator fit test, and use respirator as required.

Compensation Data

The salary range for these skills is: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00.  This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.  This salary range may also be modified in the future.
