Just outside Malmö you find a leading paint company with a focus on innovation and sustainability. One of the Nordic region's largest sites where we develop, manufacture, market and sell paint for indoor and outdoor environments for consumers, customers and industry. The business mainly consists of two companies. Akzo Nobel Industrial Coatings, a leader in the sale and manufacture of paints and coatings for industrial surface treatment for wood products such as windows, doors, floors, and furniture. Some of the customers are IKEA, Montana, Inwido and Tarkett. The other company Akzo Nobel Decorative Coatings develops, manufactures, distributes, and sells paints, varnishes, putty and wood protection products to professional painters and consumers. The portfolio includes the well-known brands Nordsjö, Sadolin and Cuprinol. At the site, 560 proud employees work to meet our customers' needs for high-quality products and services.

What will you do?

As a Sales Manager in the Regional Nordic Sales Team, you will play a key role in executing regional strategy while owning its implications for the Danish market. You manage complex, centralized customer accounts, build strong commercial relationships, and drive profitable growth across Denmark. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you translate strategy into action, ensure effective market penetration, and represent the company professionally across the value chain.

 

  • Own and manage key Danish customer accounts with centralized purchasing influence across regions
  • Execute regional and customer-specific sales strategies, including contract negotiations and pricing input
  • Identify, develop, and follow up on significant business opportunities and resolve commercial issues
  • Drive market penetration through close collaboration with marketing, technical service, and operations
  • Lead forecasting, performance tracking, and business reviews for assigned customers

 

This is a permanent full-time position, with a preferred start date 1st of April. The position is home based. You will report to the Sales Manager Nordics.

With a structured approach and strong collaboration skills, you create value for customers while advancing regional and organizational goals.

 

  • Experienced in managing key accounts and complex B2B sales environments
  • Strong in negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate market insights into actionable plans
  • Comfortable coordinating across sales, marketing, operations, finance, and technical teams
  • Proactive, structured, and committed to compliance, HSE standards, and ethical conduct
