Job Purpose
You will be working in our business in Hull that supplies coatings and inks for the protection and decoration of beverage, food, aerosol and general line cans, metal closures and collapsible tubes. Your role will be to help the business meet customer needs by managing the planning of finished inks / varnishes through the gathering and critiquing of data, ensuring customer requirements are fulfilled in the requested time frame.

Job Responsibilites

• Check SAP daily to ascertain what materials need planning.
• Plan manufacture accordingly within SAP.
• Generate Weekly Mixing/Milling Plan & Daily / Weekly Varnish Plan.
• Place purchase orders with suppliers for sufficient manufacturing materials.
• Oversee supplier deliveries.
• Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate data for planning meetings.
• Provide regular planning reporting for stakeholders.

Job Requirements

• Graduate calibre.
• Experience in a production or planning environment.
• Proficient SAP user
• Familiar with inventory management & differentiated stock strategies & control
