Position Summary:

The Global Product Data Analyst will be the SAP/MDG expert who provides first-line support for daily product data creation, correction, and maintenance in SAP/MDG, and direct liaison with the Masterdata and SAP service. This person drives business improvement by working with key users in other functions proactively to provide support, and solutions and improve efficiency for the implementation of product data.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Deliver key multi-functional support for product data used in MDG/SAP, expert for support and effective solving of SAP/MDG issues related to product data.
  • Advice and support (Senior) Product Managers with key activities with product data
  • Contribute to specific product data entries and creations and support IT ticket submission.
  • Assist and contribute to ERP system clean up activities and remove old product data no longer used or incorrectly copied
  • Reset, review and maintain governance process for product data approvals in MDG and SAP
  • Lead global analytical activities to check proactively product data quality
  • Support the Product Introduction Form (PIF) process with key product data activities in MDG and SAP
  • Support the product banner deletion process with key product data activities in MDG and SAP

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Science, Business, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
  • Expert in SAP as ERP system, key knowledge on how to use, manage data entry and approval processes.
  • Project management experience
  • Extensive experience working in data analysis environment,
  • Work experience in working in a help desk or IT role is an advantage
  • Experience in the chemical industry is an advantage
