Our Akzo Nobel Hilden GmbH is looking for an
Account Manager (m/f/d)
Your Responsibility
• Develop and execute account/customer plans in alignment with Regional Management and Marketing
• Build and maintain a strong commercial pipeline for the assigned key accounts
• Deliver agreed financial and non-financial targets in line with business budgets
• Drive innovation in close collaboration with customers
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive contact map within each account across all levels and functions
• Implement and continuously improve Key Account Management plans
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer value, including forecasting, service, capabilities, efficiency, and productivity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and key account stakeholders to prioritize new developments and plan trials
• Provide guidance and leadership to Technical Service teams regarding customer support at customer sites
• Lead and manage new business development projects in line with account requirements
Your Qualifications
• Extensive professional experience in commercial roles, particularly in sales and key account management for strategic accounts
• Industry experience in paints and coatings or a comparable B2B environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
• Strong skills in problem-solving, stakeholder management, project management and decision-making
• Proven ability to create compelling value propositions and strong results orientation
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong commercial and business acumen, with a basic understanding of cross-functional processes and financial concepts
• High level of motivation and a structured, results-driven working style
