Warehouse Operator Inventory

Job Purpose

The warehouse Inventory SAP specialist evaluates and assists in the control of raw materials and finished goods, and work off inventories. The warehouse Inventory SAP specialist is also responsible for tracking and correcting discrepancies in inventories maintained in SAP.

Key Responsibilities

•  Assist with Inventory Management across the site.
•  Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Customer Service, Billing, Accounting & QC to correct problems with inventory variances in SAP.
•  Develop raw material Inventory Accuracy reporting 
•  Generate and dispatch Aged Finished Goods Inventory report, coordinating with Customer Service, Receiving, Finished Goods Warehouse, and Production (SLOB)
•  Assist with annual Physical Inventories.
•  Analyze and coordinate the identification and removal of obsolete & inactive materials.
•  Review and correct incomplete SAP batch information.
•  Assist implementation of bar code system for proper documentation of inventory.
•  Assist in maintaining and developing procedures to track, analyze, and locate inventories including raw materials, returns, work off, finished goods, tint stocks and consignment materials.
•  Assist Receiving and Supply Chain in managing and improving the raw material coding and tracking system.
•  Maintain data and provide a monthly Return Goods and Rework Report.
•  Periodically communicate status of operations to Inventory Controll manager 
•  Periodic representation on plant taskforces or special project teams.
•  Conformance with ISO requirements.

•  Manage own workload and switch between projects
•  Low-impact exception management decisions 

Job Requirements

•  Minimum of High School Diploma/GED 
•  Minimum of three years of experience working in inventory control or related discipline.
•  SAP experience is strongly preferred
•  Certification and/or training in Inventory Management preferred.
•  Must have excellent computer skills for data tabulation, analysis and report preparation (Excel, Word, etc) 
•  Excellent communication (both verbal and written), analytical and organization skills.
•  Ability to interact and communicate in English with all levels of the organization effectively and precisely. 
•  Must be able to handle multiple tasks with tight deadlines.
•  Must have good hearing and eyesight.
•  Must be able to wear all required safety equipment and protective clothing as required by law and/or corporate policy.
