Job Purpose
The Distribution Support Specialist will coordination and management of distribution programs to include MAP (mutual action plan), stand-up of new distribution, DTM (Distributor Term Matrix), Price Lists, Co-op Program and Distributor Agreements to ensure success. This role will support the business as needed with other assigned duties.
Key Responsibilities
• Supports start-up process of new Distribution customers, and coordinates and manages documented stand up process to support BDM..
• Engages with sales team to support execution of MAP by producing support data, tracking and scheduling.
• Engages with marketing team to ensure that Distributors are well supported with appropriate marketing tools and materials.
• Manage co-op and DTM programs.
• Directing Stand up and MAP program policy changes with cross functional teams that impact the growth of distributors – i.e. Complaint on Map
• Coordinates and execute all Association Meetings and IDM Independent Distributor Meeting.
• Supports pricing architecture activities, scheduling and tracking.
• Supports Business Development Management with initiatives in the market when dealing with major accounts.
• Delivers input to the back-office (including, marketing,operations and finance) in order to achieve consistency and professionalism in approach to the marketplace.
• Systematically up-dates the customers’ databases with valid, accurate and complete customer-related information.
• Maintain Distributor Agreements ensuring that coverage areas are accurate and agreements are up-to-date.
Job Requirements
• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 5 years sales/marketing Distribution experience with documented success. Wood Coatings technology and application experience preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Application skills: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (to include formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis)
• Ability to work with cross functional stakeholders to achieve objectives
• Strong leadership and relationship building skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation and presentation skills for the benefit of internal and external customer relations
• Preferred SAP skills.
• Ability to travel up to 10% time
Bene
The salary range for these skills is: $65,365 to $76,900. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
The work schedule for this role will be On-SIte with potential for Hybrid.
