About the Role:

Are you a customer-oriented professional looking for a rewarding career? We're seeking a dedicated Customer Service Officer to join our team in Henderson, Western Australia on permanent full time basis. The Customer Service Representative is the primary internal contact for our customers. The position is expected to enhance our company's reputation through effective communication and advice. You will manage customer service, order processing, and problem-solving with a high degree of autonomy, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible service.

In this dynamic role, you will:

  • Efficiently manage order receipt and process customer orders in the SAP system, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
  • Manage order releases, prioritise deliveries, and communicate effectively with customers. This includes answering queries, offering product recommendations, and resolving issues promptly.
  • Utilise SAP system for various tasks, including monitoring stock levels, coordinating supplies, and ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and Technical personnel.
  • Participate in customer-focused activities and contribute to the overall success of the Australasian team.
  • Support the Regional Customer Experience Manager and other team members as required.
  • Propose improvements to work processes and complete necessary documentation. Your insights will help streamline operations and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Adhere to corporate and site policies/procedures, including HS&E standards and regulations.

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in customer service or administration.
  • Strong computer and clerical skills. Proficiency in using ERP systems and other software would be highly advantageous.
  • Customer-focused mindset, team orientation, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and resolve issues will be crucial.
  • Initiative and adaptability to respond to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of Protective Coatings or Shipping Industry – would also be highly regarded.
