1. Purpose of the job

 

 

The principle objective of this job is to handle end to end warehouse operations including material inward from production, storage, dispatch to depots & system operations as per plant requirements

 

Continually improve its effectiveness in sustaining robust warehouse within the framework of and with compliance to Akzo Nobel HSES Standards & Guideline Notes, local statutory requirements and with site Vision and Objectives

 

 

2. Key responsibilities

 

 

Accountabilities & Functional Responsibilities

 

  • Daily follow up with transporter for vehicle status
  • Dispatch and Invoicing
  • GRN for transporter freight bills
  • Daily production and dispatch status update in SAP system.
  • Daily LPMH calculation for stacker drivers & all sites & regions consolidate data prepare monthly basis.
  • Daily FG stock calculation via MB52 transaction
  • GRN for transporter freight bills.

Monthly book vs physical & quarterly audit

  • Transporter meetings
  • Inventory Receipt Accuracy on weekly basis, MIS of variance for critical FG
  • Support in implementation of 5S and Kanban in FG warehouse.

 

Key Skills  

 

  • Strong supervisory skills to handle team contractual employees & loading team
  • Well versed with material classification, handling & hazardous materials transport guidelines
  • Proficiency in SAP ECC PP/MM/QM, MS Excel, Power point
  • Knowledge on SIRE Code Management
  • Ability to anticipate hurdles in daily operations & action plan to tackle.

 

 

3. Level of autonomy

 

 

Quick decisions towards road blocks in daily operations without compromising on HSE&S, Quality & Integrity

 

 

4. Job requirements

 

 

  • B.com / Diploma in Material Management
  • 2 – 3 years in similar role
  • Proficiency in MS office
  • SAP knowledge
