Job Description -
Purpose/Key Objectives of the Job
To effectively lead CSR initiatives as per Company’s policy and guidelines of Companies Act.
To Enhance the Company’s image as an active and strong influence and leader of change in the community, across Industry and Government with respect to CSR and Corporate Governance. To increase the ESG quotient of the Company from branding perspective.
Responsibilities
• Develop effective CSR implementable work plans/initiatives in alignment with ANI CSR policy, business requirement & resource utilisation
• Faciliating CSR Committee meetings of Board
• Conduct quarterly programme and financial reviews of CSR Projects
• Regular monitor CSR projects and organise impact evaluation of flagship CSR Projects as and when required
• Effectiveness & utilisation of the CSR budget as per compliance
• Liaise, communicate, network and partner with relevant stakeholders including government, media and civil society organizations in addition to internal stakeholders.
• Identify suitable NGO/INGO/skill training implementation partners to successfully implement CSR programme.
• Lead Employee volunteering programme across all sites and offices
• Document CSR newsletter, Quarterly/Annual Report, Case Studies, Award applications, etc.
Level of Autonomy
Independently strategise, plan, budget and monitor CSR projects with guidance from Company Secretary and CSR Committee. Ensure influence beyond hierarchy and function to enable volunteers across locations for the good cause. |
Examples
• Autonomy in strategizing and planning novel/out of Box CSR initiatives within the policy and legal framework • Autonomy in maintaining external stakeholder relations -local communities, NGO’s, Industry Bodies, Academia and Govt. Departments viz. Dist. Admin, Education/Health Department, Ministry of Skill Development, etc • Autonomy of identifying project partners (NGO’s, Govt. Depts, other corporates) leading to better outcomes and synergy

Job Requirements
Essential educational qualifications, relevant experience and requested skills.
- Educational background of Social Sciences/Social Work
- Strong understanding of social development issues/challenges of the country
- Prior experience of CSR and working with NGO’s
- Cross functional stakeholder management- Collaborative mindset
- Considerable knowledge in Project Planning, Budgeting and execution
- Networking skills across industry/Civil society/Govt. Dept’s
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and public speaking skills
- An analytical mind capable for “out-of-the-box” thinking to solve problems
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Good organizational skills and an eye for detail
- Honest and ethical with high levels of integrity and confidentiality
- Self-motivated, pro-active and results driven
