R&D Chemist

Job Purpose 
As a member of our R&D team you will work on a range of business critical product projects supporting our Cromadex and RELEST liquid portfolio. You will also provide technical sales support by attending customer visits to maintain relationships and develop an understanding of customer needs.

Job Responsibilities
•    Plan, carry-out, evaluate & interpret trials/experiements.
•    Report results, propose conclusions/recommendations within agreed timescales using appropriate methods.
•    Develop a fundamental understanding of key product attributes/performance.
•    Provide technical advice to customers/sales teams.
•    Test/support existing products, processes & coating systems & support the development of new products/technologies.
•    Identify improvement needs & suggest improvement activities/projects.
•    Work safely & comply with company & regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements 
•    Graduate in Chemistry.
•    Experience of working in a laboratory environment.
•    Used to working with a wide range of liquid coatings formulations.
•    Good application skills, preferably airless & air assisted airless application.
•    Full driving licence.
