Join us and you will take responsibility for the management and delivery EC&I across all assets and help to maximise production in our manufacturing operation in Felling.

 

The Role
•    Manage the delivery of the EC&I program
•    On-time completion of safety critical EC&I inspections
•    Ensure all corporate & regulatory policies, procedures & regulations are followed 
•    Head the development & execution of the Functional Safety Assessments (FSA1 to FSA5)
•    Oversee technical problem-solving activities
•    Act as commissioning manager for EC&I projects
•    Collaborate with colleagues in process safety reviews & implement recommendations
•    Participate in the project design process, ensuring that design proposals are appropriate
•    Collaborate with colleagues in drafting, issuing & embedding standards/procedures for Functional Safety, Cyber Security and Hazardous Area Classification
•    Hazardous Area Classification (HAC)
•    ATEX inspection compliance (E&I)
•    Compex Ex14 – Responsible Person
•    High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) equipment inspections and life-cycle management
•    Site Cyber Security
•    Site Electrical Duty Holder

 

About You
•    HND in Instrument or electrical engineering
•    Significant experience in an instrument or electrical engineering management role gained in in a COMAH chemical facility 
•    Experience of working with Safe Systems of Work
•    Good communication, people, and interpersonal skills
•    Sound knowledge of Functional Safety and applicable standards
•    Sound knowledge of Electrical Standards
•    Enjoys a collaborative working environment 
•    Strong prioritisation skills
