Job Purpose

  • Plan, organize, and control the manufacturing of company products.
  • Manage both in-house manufacturing operations in line with the approved production plan.
  • Ensure production is delivered on time and meets required quality standards.
  • Achieve optimal cost efficiency while maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Ensure full compliance with HSES standards and local regulatory requirements.
  • Execute capital expenditure plans in alignment with overall business goals and objectives.

Key Accountabilities

  • Direct, supervise, monitor, and control the manufacturing of finished products to meet production plans and quality specifications.
  • Plan and propose plant capacity development to meet volume and product mix projections.
  • Continuously identify and implement cost-effective and technology-driven manufacturing solutions.
  • Ensure production throughput meets business and customer demand.
  • Plan and implement manufacturing excellence initiatives to improve conformance to plan, cost effectiveness, quality performance, manpower productivity, inventory management, and operational hygiene.
  • Ensure all products are manufactured in full compliance with defined quality specifications.
  • Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations to achieve manufacturing excellence.
  • Ensure full compliance with HSE&S standards, PSM requirements, and all regulatory obligations across manufacturing activities.
  • Lead HSE&S improvement initiatives and promote safe work practices throughout the plant.
  • Manage near-miss reporting, BBS activities, and monitor implementation of safety policies.
  • Achieve and sustain HSE&S and PSM compliance with continuous safety improvement.
  • Develop direct and second-line subordinates to meet current and future operational requirements.
  • Plan manpower and resource requirements in alignment with business strategy and supply chain initiatives.
  • Build individual and team capabilities through structured training, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Recommend appropriate internal and external development opportunities for team members.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards across all manufacturing activities.
  • Oversee timely and effective completion of capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects.
  • Maintain asset integrity through effective monitoring of maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all operational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop, review, and update site policies, rules, and procedures.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of standard manufacturing systems including ISO, TPM, ERP, process control, costing, and compliance frameworks.

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing, including production, engineering, quality, or continuous improvement.

Education

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in engineering.
