Job Purpose

Plan, execute and manage capital projects and engineering improvement initiatives at the site.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and according to required quality standards.
Coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders, contractors, and external partners.
Support continuous improvement, process optimization, and site engineering excellence.

Key Accountabilities

Lead CAPEX projects from planning through execution, commissioning, and handover.
Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, PSM, SAQ, MOC, Enablon, BBS, and applicable engineering standards.
Manage contractors and third parties to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
Develop and monitor project budgets, timelines, scope, quality, and resource requirements.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency, cost optimization, and reliability enhancement.
Develop business cases and provide engineering input for process and equipment modifications.
Ensure compliance with applicable local, national, and international regulations and standards.
Coordinate with production, maintenance, HSE, procurement, and other site stakeholders.
Manage engineering materials, stores, spares, vendors, and related expenditures.
Drive continuous improvement in project, construction, and contractor management practices.

Experience

Minimum 3 years of relevant project engineering experience, preferably in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
Proven experience in CAPEX/project planning, execution, budgeting, and contractor management.
Hands-on knowledge of HSE, risk assessment, PTW, MOC, and contractor safety management.
Working knowledge of engineering standards, construction activities, equipment, electrical/mechanical systems, and technical drawings.

Education

Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
Additional qualifications/certifications in Project Management or Engineering will be an advantage.
