We are looking for a Resin Process Engineer to work at our Santo Andre plant.

Job Purpose:

The Resin Process Engineer supports resin production across sites and external manufacturers within a region to meet required HSE, Productivity, Cost, and other performance metrics while maintaining alignment to the long term strategy.  Long term, the focus is to improve safety, utilization of our assets, business continuity plans, and deliver lowest total cost of ownership (TCO).

Responsibilities:

• Coord
• Setup and maintain regional resin manufacturing network to leverage resources within to improve overall maturity and facilitate best practice transfers; large focus on Basis of Safety engineering protocol implementation
• Demonstrate strong project management skills with detailed project plans and ability to manage multiple short- and long-term projects at once
• Support the development of standardized maintenance and engineering standards and be responsible for implementation
• Define activities to implement BCPs, archetypes, micro battles, and sourcing strategies
• Analyzes and manages the resin portfolio over all sites and thus identify complexity reduction opportunities and oversee continuous improvement projects
• Ensures clear and timely inputs (CU & RCCP) in IBP process and supports sites on gap closing activities
• Maintain alignment of multi-year CapEx plan to site strategies, track execution, and follow through to assure end results have been achieved
• Is familiar and complies with all the applicable policies/procedures with regard to personal conduct, HSE&S and Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs (PSRA) standards 
• Indirectly influence resin manufacturing / site leaders to deliver strategy
• Consolidate the regional performance report.

Education:

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or other science discipline.

Experience:

• Solid experience In polymer or coatings industry

Specific knowledge:

• • Organized to Manage multiple projects at a time
  • MS Office
  • Good Spanish knowledge: for BU support on a global level, constant communication with several countries. (Desired)
  • Good English knowledge: for BU support on a global level, constant communication with several countries. (Desired)
