Job Purpose
Join our Decorative Paints division and you will maximise the sales and profitability of our brands by building business relationships with industry professionals. This will involve selling the benefits of our brands and offering excellent service, technical advice and specifications. Key will be the ability to develop relationships with key construction companies, Painting contractors, professional decorators as well as architects and design teams.
Job Responsibilities
• Develop & implement a regional business plan.
• Maximise sales opportunities by building a strong customer relationship and influencing key customers to specify and use AkzoNobel products.
• Create suitable specifications that will satisfy the customer and drive profitable sales for Dulux Paints Ireland.
• Identify & win new business/distribution opportunities.
• Build a clear understanding of customer objectives & KPI’s.
• Negotiate pricing/promotions within agreed parameters.
• Help resolve customer queries/complaints.
• Produce regular performance reporting.
• Monitor & report on market/competitor activities
Job Requirements
• Experience as a successful sales professional.
• Record of delivering consistent profitable sales growth within a fast-paced environment.
• Good at nurturing in-depth client relationships.
• Full driving licence.
