Skills Development Consultant – Dulux Paints Ireland

We are looking for a Skills Development Consultant to join our team in Dulux Paints Ireland, delivering high-quality training and development programmes that inspire retailers, decorators, interior designers, and professional partners to paint a brighter future and raise industry standards powered by Dulux. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our customers’ success by building confidence in both product knowledge, colour, and application techniques.

What you will do:
•    Be the voice of the brand and deliver commercial messages to the channel through the Academy platform.
•    Deliver engaging, high-quality training to, customers, decorators, professional partners, and internal teams.
•    Build strong relationships with various stakeholders, identifying training needs and tailoring solutions accordingly.
•    Plan and manage a structured training schedule.
•    Build enviable training content, develop best in market innovative approaches to engaging audiences.
•    Promote Dulux Paints Ireland training programmes, increasing participation and engagement.
•    Support the rollout of new products, services, and techniques through effective training delivery.
•    Ensure all training is delivered safely and in line with HSE standards.
•    Evaluate training effectiveness, gathering feedback, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
•    Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and new technologies.
•    Explore and introduce new ways of learning, including digital and blended training approaches.

 

What you bring:
•    Proven Paint Industry or Specification experience
•    Proven experience delivering training or coaching others in a practical environment.
•    Strong knowledge of painting and decorating products, techniques, and the wider market.
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage a range of audiences.
•    Good organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
•    An initiative-taking and innovative mindset, with a passion for developing others.
•    Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
•    Full driving licence and flexibility to travel across the region.
