Total Compensation

  • Base salary $75,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year.
  • 35% annual bonus based on your performance and that of the company.
  • $800/month Vehicle Allowance + mileage reimbursement.

Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to be the front-line salesperson who is responsible for executing agreed sales and profitability targets within a defined territory established by the company by developing new business and expanding the business with existing customers.

Territory

Quebec City and surrounding areas.  The territory begins in Drummondville and Trois Rivières and continues north of Quebec City.   This is a remote position, as you won't have to work in an AkzoNobel office.  Most of your work will be done on the road or from your home office.

Key Activities

  • Develop and manage a relevant sales pipeline for the respective accounts. 
  • Execute regionally/globally aligned accounts receivable plans while achieving agreed financial and non-financial goals in accordance with company budgets.
  • Keep the client informed of relevant information and "cutting-edge" technologies and maintain high-level contact with the management of existing and potential clients.
  • Present and provide training to customers on the use and application of the company's products.
  • Ensure that all orders and other customer communications are processed quickly and accurately.
  • Manage complex customer complaints.
  • Attend seminars and trade shows as determined by the Sales Manager, Sales Manager and, occasionally, travel with the customer to see new technologies.

Qualifications

  • Bilingualism: Advanced French and basic English.
  • Minimum of 3 years in the vehicle body finish coating industry
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills at all levels of management, peer groups, and clients
  • Must have interpersonal and effective presentation skills.
  • Ability to multitask and balance priorities.
  • Basic computer skills; email, Microsoft Office, sending reports, etc.
  • Ability to travel more than 50% of the time by car and work a flexible work schedule, including nights and weekends on occasion.
