Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in relevant departments, (preferably Chemical, Mechanical, Industry Engineering),

· Master's degree in field of polymer science and technology will be asset,

· Minimum 2 years' experience in Production and Process Engineering activities, in a multinational company, (Preferably a background in Polymer production)

· Lean Manufacturing and Operational Excellence Process knowledge,

· Systematic and analytical mind set,

· Team player, well organized, strong commitment,

· Result and solution oriented,

· Strong communication and presentation skills,

· Advanced in MS Office applications and SAP,

· The ability to work under pressure and deadlines,

· No military obligation for male candidates,

· Located in İstanbul Anatolian side or Kocaeli nearby locations.

Job Description

· Monitors the process performance through metrics such as OEE, RFT, MME, Waste Indices and takes action as required to correct adverse trends, performing plant-based process investigations

· Participate and leading the MDI-Management Daily Improvement systems meetings at the shift and daily level with identification of gaps and root cause analyses

· Monitors all related KPIs and provides necessary routine reports to higher management with improvement plans

· Develops plans to improve the above performance through focused improvement activities (in conjunction with the operations group) along with capital projects.

· Interfaces with off-site functions such as R&D/marketing and central engineering for the industrialization of new products, new raw materials and recipe changes ensuring that changes on site are controlled and managed.

· Provides expertise for on-site operations group during process related troubleshooting issues.

· For capital projects, perform initial project scoping and business case development, handing over to the project group for execution (except minor projects).

· During project execution, play a major role in commissioning and training, and then owning the technology for the site.

· Uses the appropriate change management tools to guide product and process changes (e.g., Management of Change procedures)

· Strong knowledge of how to apply in practice problem solving tools and statistical concepts (L6S – Yellow, Green belt or beyond)

· Jobholder is able to influence people at all levels on site to promote information exchange for example with operators.
