Job purpose

 

The role of the Demand Planner is to facilitate the forecasting process through the gathering and critiquing data, to ensure customer and MSU requirements are accurately reflected in the forecast so that the correct business decisions are made.

 

Person on this position will be employed on substitution contract for the planned period of over 1 year.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Translate Sales and Marketing plans to produce accurate and detailed forecasts,
  • Support IBP process incl. faciliating Demand Management Reviews,
  • Collaborate with SupplyChain to manage constrained forecast,
  • Build monthly forecast using statistical tool and additional market information concentrating on a 4 – 24 month period,
  • Responsible for master data required to improve statistical forecasting (e.g. correcting history),
  • Monitor performance and identify gaps between target and unconstrained demand plan,
  • Follow up forecast accuracy in order to get the required target; support the improvements of forecasting system,
  • Assist in SLOB process,
  • Gain Customer expertise to understand their future business plans and activities.

Requirements

 

  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent,
  • Experience in constructing and maintaining forecasts,
  • Previous exposure to Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing,
  • Process mindset driven to deliver business efficiencies,
  • System capability, e.g. SAP, OMP, FLM,
  • Advanced Excel knowledge required,
  • At least good command of Polish and English,
  • Numerate, analytical and results oriented,
  • Very good communication skills; keen to work in dynamic surrounding.
