Job purpose

 

To collaborate closely with all the Controllers and FP&A Analysts in the team to process large data sets, identify trends, develop predictive models and deploy scalable solutions that provide actionable insights to optimize the Global Functions costs processes.

Responsibilities

 

  • Collect, clean, and preprocess data from internal and external sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, HR, MDM and Finance, to ensure alignment between various masterdata sources and solve mismatches.
  • Collaborate with fellow Functional Control team members to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions for budgeting, forecasting, reporting and other financial analysis processes.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics to track business performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to the Global Functions Team by actively seeking ways to improve and standardise and automate the work across the team.

Job Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience in financial data analysis, business intelligence, FP&A or a related field.
  • A love of masterdata combined with able to reduce complex and/or large volumes of data to a readable high level.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and pick out the key trends.
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Experience with SAP is a strong advantage. Experience with consolidation systems like HFM, SAP BPC is an advantage but not a prerequisite.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills including fluent written and spoken English.
  • Naturally curious.
  • Able to work independently, be hands-on and proactive to get things done.
  • Continuous improvement mindset, flexible adaptable and resilient.
  • Able to work well in remote/video hybrid team set up.
