Job Purpose
To operate a wide range of machines for manufacturing and filling paint (e.g. (large SHDs, small SHDs, bead mills, filling, labelling) as per agreed operational methods and standards and in line with Company’s Health, Safety, and Environment Policy to ensure 100% compliance with IPSAL’s weekly production plan. This job is also expected to provide ad hoc guidance to Machine Operators where needed.
Key Accountabilities
- Batch Provessing
- Pre-batch the raw materials as per the picking list
- Transfer, check, and charge raw materials, control process materials, sampling, filling maintain the process parameters such as temperature, machine speed)
- Maintenance of Machines
- Clean machines, related equipment, and work areas, using water, solvents and other cleaning aids
- Driving Forklift Machines
- Drives forklift machines to stack and remove materials from the racks and transfer pans on the production floor.
- Dispatch of finished goods
- Pick the finished goods
- Housekeeping
- Ensure that assigned machines and area are kept tidy and clean
- Upward Support
- Support team leaders In business improvement projects
- Co ordinate with the team leader and make sure the machines are utilized to maximum capacity.
- Training
- Coach Operators on the manufacturing of paint (methods, processes, and machines)
- Tickets onf breakdown machines
- Raise job tickets for the breakdown of the machines on the system to the engineering team
- Audit
- Carry out your weekly/ monthly BBS audits
- Carry out daily safety checks for the all machines and equipment in the assigned area of responsibility (Packaging, Coil, or M&PC) and fill in daily check sheets
- Policy Compliance
- Follow the ISO and HSE Procedures
Experience
- Technical Diploma
- FLT license useful but not essential.
- Basic command of spoken and written English and preferably Arabic
- Good communication skills
- Focused and organized
- Good team player
- Attention to detail
