Job Purpose
A crucial role in managing interactions between a company and various government entities. This position ensures compliance with local laws and regulations, facilitates necessary documentation, and maintains positive relationships with governmental bodies.
Key Accountabilities
- Government Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between the company and local governmental authorities, ministries, and regulatory bodies.
- Document Management: Prepare, submit, and follow up on all government related documents, including visas, work permits, and licenses, Article of association, POA, Modon, ZATCA...etc.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the company complies with all local government laws, regulations, and procedures. Stay
- Updated on Policies: Monitor and track government policy changes that could impact the business and inform management accordingly.
- Facilitate Approvals: Assist in obtaining approvals, licenses, and other required permits from government entities for company operations.
- Coordinate with External Stakeholders: Build and maintain effective working relationships with local authorities, external consultants, and legal teams.
- Reporting: Maintain detailed records and reports of government-related processes and activities, and ensure timely reporting to senior management.
- Advisory Role: Provide advice to internal teams about government policies and regulations relevant to the business
- Support in admin related matters and urgent purchasing.
Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, Law, or a related field.
- Experience: Up to 3 years of experience in government relations or similar roles, within Saudi Arabia.
- Language Skills: Fluency in both Arabic and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using government portals like Muqeem, MOL, GOSI, SBC and Chamber of Commerce platforms.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills.
