Job Purpose

Schedules production with a high level of understanding of the trade-offs between service, forecast error, stock and manufacturing costs. Assigning an appropriate number of workers to the jobs during each day of work and determining when an activity should start or end.

Key Accountabilities

  • Takes care of order acceptance, -entry and selection while communicating with planning and production.
  • Performs and oversees administrative tasks related to orders, receipts and shipments conform procedures.
  • Prepares and monitors the order fulfillment- and delivery process, and anticipates on eventual disruptions. Provides practical solutions to resolve issues.
  • Calculates transport volumes and assesses whether special measures should be taken. Calls-off transport modalities.
  • Takes care of returns, questions and customer complaints following procedures as per agreed guidelines.
  • Takes care of raw material call-off activities where applicable.
  • Contributes to CI / ALPS projects and proactively identifies and signals opportunities to increase performance and efficiency.
  • Is familiar and complies with all the applicable corporate as well as site and laboratory policies/procedures with regard to personal conduct, HSE and Product Safety & Regulatory Affairs (PSRA) standards

Requirements

  • Graduate level or equivalent standard based on experience
  • Understanding and experience of Supply Chain planning processes
  • Technical background/experience in SAP and Microsoft office in particular Excel
  • Experience in Coatings industry or similar is an advantage
  • Strong communicator with excellent people skills
  • Good analytical skills with some financial knowledge
  • Excellent change management & communication skills
  • Experience in global and cross cultural working
  • Good standard of English
  • Good knowledge Italian language
