Job Purpose

Support all aspects of training with a focus on driving consistency in the training process through collaboration and coordination with on the job trainers, supervision, and management.  This role requires having a strong shop floor presence and regular interaction with personnel in their regular work areas. This role will be responsible for auditing the training process and updating training materials (training checklists, SOPs, qualification evaluations).  This role will coordinate and deliver training on topics related to HSE, SAP, Production SOPs, etc.

Key Responsibilities

•    Support a sustained training program for the site through consistency between training materials (SOPs), training practices, standard work, and role qualification evaluations.
•    Continuously improves the program, incorporating feedback from all levels.
•    Leads classroom training sessions.
•    Conducts training on the floor.
•    Review and revise pertinent SOPs.
•    Support new hire orientation trainings to all new employees.
•    Must follow all established HSE rules and procedures.
•    Must provide direction to trainers and trainees on established HSE rules and regulations.
•    Must demonstrate integrity while performing duties per company’s Code of Conduct.
•    Other duties as requested or required.

Job Requirements

•    High school diploma or equivalent
•    College degree preferred
•    SAP experience preferred
•    Training and administration experience strongly preferred
•    Manufacturing experience strongly preferred
•    Ability to read, comprehend and follow safety instructions and safety guidelines
•    Must have effective interpersonal skills
•    Ability to work independently
•    Ability to multi-task and balance priorities
•    Dedicated and committed safety leadership and presence
•    Ability to climb stairs wearing steel-toed footwear
•    Ability to work in hot and cold environments and inclement weather
•    Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time 
•    Ability to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment as needed
•    Basic computer skills including MS Office experience
•    Must be able to speak, write and communicate Fluently in English

Rewards & Benefits

Base salary range for this role is: $55,000 to $60,000. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
