Training Lead/Coordinator

Job Purpose

Help ensure constant and repeatable overall job performance of permanent and temporary employees by delivering robust educational and training packages for employees to increase their knowledge and competence in the areas of HSE, quality, and specific job duties.

Key Accountabilities

To perform this job successfully, the incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty safely, satisfactorily, and in a timely manner. 

  • Must follow all established Health, Safety and Environmental rules and procedures
  • Must demonstrate integrity while performing duties per company’s Code of Conduct
  • Develops, leads and ensures sustained training program for the site
  • Develops training program structure, content, and documentation
  • Organizes and tracks all training documentation
  • Continuously improves the program, incorporating feedback from all levels
  • Leads classroom training session
  • Conducts training on the floor
  • Performs production duties (batch making, fill off) when demand surpasses capacity
  • Any other duties as specified by supervisor and management

Level of Autonomy

This position requires the incumbent to be able to develop and execute training processes with minimal directions from the Production Manager. One must be able to interface with the identified subject manner expert and assimilate the information into an understandable and measurable training package.  

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.  College degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
  • 2-3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 2-3 years' training experience in a manufacturing environment such as production or logistics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.  Experience using SAP preferred
  • Must be able to successfully complete pre-employment screening

  • Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time 
     

Work Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.  Must be flexible to train on second or third shift as required.
