SALARY:    $75,317/yr.

JOB DUTIES: Member of Product Support and Analytical team for Coil and Extrusion Coatings group North America. This group supports R&D, production, sales, marketing, and technical service areas through weathering and quality studies, along with analytical lab work. Work effectively within cross-functional team. Contribute to program through standard testing of coatings, data entry, sample preparation, and reporting of results. Responsible for organization and maintenance of Quality snapshot program. Work independently on weekly work plan under clear and distinct instruction. Communicate technical information clearly in both written and oral formats. Draw conclusions from data provided and keep up-to-date detailed records on all work underway. Seek and understand coatings fundamentals, including further understanding of performance and durability capabilities within metal coatings industry.
      
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Physics or related Scientific field of study and 4 years of experience in Materials and Analytical Testing, technical report writing, and statistical analysis. Employer will accept a 3- or 4-year Bachelor’s degree. Employer will accept a Master’s degree or equivalent in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Physics or related Scientific field of study in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 4 years of experience.

Applicants must have demonstrated experience with:  
 
1) maintaining documentation associated with materials testing and analytical lab work. 
2) creating, supporting, and distributing reports with conclusions drawn from data analysis. 
3) maintaining quality documentation for regulatory compliance. 
4) utilization of statistical methods to analyze laboratory data (including Minitab, Excel, or similar statistical software). 
5) performing lab work including testing and failure analysis. 
6) preparing written and oral communication of technical information.

The annual salary for these skills is: $75,317/yr. based upon experience. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.  This salary range may also be modified in the future.
