Job Description

  1. Deliver annual sales target on a monthly basis as per the assigned target while maintaining OD targets
  2. Maintain and enhance the existing business relationship with key accounts and understand their current as well as future requirements and offer appropriate solutions
  3. Update Projects Customer Relationship Management regularly – Projects CRM
  4. Understand market opportunities and work toward improving projects market share
  5. Negotiate with customers and secure refurbishment projects while maintaining annual CM targets
  6. Identify potential accounts and get them registered to the customer database
  7. Ensure overall customer satisfaction by providing high-quality services
  8. Frequent study on products, their features, and attributes
  9. Attend customer complaints and provide solutions as per the SLA
  10. Conduct product trails, samples, and trainings
  11. Collaborate with team members in delivering overall results of the department








Business Management

  • Manage customer base while focusing on driving sales, building customer relationships while maintaining overall CM targets
  • Attend customer-related quarries (such as not delivery due to OD payments, Project proposals, sales returns, customer complaints, sampling / trials, regular site visits etc.),

Achieve 5 – 8% YOY value growth

Business / Customer Relationship Management

  • Arrange special events (such as get-togethers, workshops, training programs, technical sessions, and virtual meetings etc.) to enhance customer engagement
  • Conduct meetings with decision makers, key customer & specifier


Further strengthen the current position of Most Preferred Supplier of Paints & Ancillaries for Construction Business in Sri Lanka


Business Development

  • Sound understanding on market changes, Industry and market intelligence, Implementation for Business Development & Expansions,

Maintain over 80% success rate of lead generation and over 50% of project conversion rate  


Level of Autonomy


Sending price proposals

Collection of cheque payments (when necessary)

Represent organization for meetings

Recommendation of Coating Systems for projects

Placing orders for new items

Customer entertainment on prior approval 

organizing meetings with direct repartees (sales reviews)

Recommendation of applicators for projects


Job Requirements

Educational Qualifications

Higher Nationals Diploma / Degree in Sales / Marketing / QS / Civil Engineering

Relevant Working Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in the similar field
