1. Purpose of the job

 

To drive sales growth within the hotel and hospitality sector by building relationships, securing new accounts, and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

 

This role focuses on expanding Dulux’s presence in the hospitality segment by understanding client needs, promoting product offerings tailored for this market, and managing ongoing relationships to achieve business goals.

 

2. Key responsibilities

 

 

 

  1. Account Management in Hotel & Hospitality Segment:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the hotel and hospitality industry, including hotel owners, procurement managers, and facility managers.
  • Conduct regular meetings and site visits to understand specific needs within the hospitality sector, positioning Dulux as a preferred partner.

 

  1. Sales Target Achievement:
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets within the hotel and hospitality segments.
  • Identify and develop new opportunities for Dulux products, specifically in hotel refurbishment projects, new builds, and maintenance contracts.

 

  1. Market Research and Trend Analysis:
  • Monitor trends and emerging needs within the hospitality industry, identifying opportunities for Dulux to provide tailored solutions.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to understand the market landscape, adjusting sales strategies as necessary to stay competitive.

 

  1. Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the product and technical teams to ensure products meet the aesthetic and durability needs of hospitality clients.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to deliver targeted presentations and product showcases for the hotel and hospitality sector.

 

  1. Sales Planning and Reporting:
  • Prepare detailed weekly and monthly sales plans with a focus on high-potential hospitality accounts.
  • Provide accurate and timely reports on sales activities, project progress, and pipeline status to the project sales manager.

 

3. Level of autonomy

 

This role requires a high degree of autonomy, especially in managing client relationships and identifying business opportunities within the hotel and hospitality segment.

He / She will independently handle day-to-day activities but will collaborate with the project sales manager on major accounts and strategic plans.

4. Job Requirements

 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

Experience: 3+ years in sales, with experience in the hotel or hospitality segment preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Ability to understand client needs and develop tailored solutions. Minimum of 5 years of work experience in Sales. Those who possess experience in hardware field/distributor handling would have an added advantage.
  • MS-Office proficient together with fair oral and written skills in English.
  • A willingness to take on challenges and responsibility together with a strong team player mindset.
  • Sound understanding on market changes, Industry, and market intelligence.
  • Willingness to work in any part of the country.
