Job Purpose
Executes assigned production tasks in accordance with procedures, to ensure right levels of HSE, Quality, Service and costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs daily tasks, processes data collection and administration tasks as per procedures and control systems.
- Reports safety, quality, or other issues related to products or warehouse processes to the Team Leader / Warehouse Supervisor / Warehouse Manager.
- Ensures all warehouse targets are met while ensuring the appropriate quality standards are maintained.
- Use SAP to keep warehouse inventory updated and accurate.
- Provide updates by email and SAP reports to the management team.
- Appropriately addresses human resources issues, such as attendance or discipline
- Advises/trains employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped
- Supervise employees to ensure breaks and lunches are taken at the required time
- Responsibilities include positively training and coaching employees positively
- Ensure orders are picked, checked, and packed accurately and in a timely fashion
- Perform inventory counts as directed and make adjustments when needed and authorized
- Monitor compliance with safety and security procedures
- Attend meetings, workshops, and training as directed
- Ensure HSE training and responsibilities are completed as expected
- Delegate warehouse housekeeping duties and ensure they are performed daily
- Maintain compliance in all areas pertaining to Federal and State regulatory agencies
- Proficiently use SAP to ship, receive, and monitor inventory transactions
- Implement and maintain operational discipline throughout operations within the team
- Coordinate and assign priorities and tasks to operators and ensure completion
- Actively engage the team in HSE participation and ALPS improvements
Job Requirements
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow safety instructions and safety guidelines
- Ability to pass the forklift test and obtain forklift certification
- Ability to operate a forklift, following all operating instructions effectively and efficiently
- Ability to read and apply accurate labels
- Ability to measure and weigh accurately
- Ability to lift and handle containers such as 5-gallon pails up to 75 lbs, 60 lb bags of pigment or maneuvering drums up to 600 lbs
- Must have effective interpersonal skills
- High School Diploma
- Prior experience working in a paint manufacturing facility is preferred
- Prior manufacturing experience
- English Speaking
- Microsoft basic skills preferred
Total Compensation
- The hourly range for these skills is: $18.50/hr. + 3% Annual Bonus
