Job Purpose

•    Running daily shipment cost module within Oracle TMS, for keeping the freight cost and carrier shipments updated.
•    Monitor and keep updated lane wise rate-cards in TMS system
•    Manage, monitor and run exception cost management module in TMS, report exception cost analysis monthly..
•    Run and publish daily/weekly/monthly transport MIS such as cost exception, shipment consolidations and carrier performance

Key Accountabilities

•    Scheduling and Coordination: Plan and schedule transportation shipment activities, which includes reconciliation with SAP, exception management for cost addition and deletion. 
•    Coordination with carriers, for auto freight cost report, carrier acceptance and validation. Work closely with carriers to coordinate shipments deviation, ePOD uploads and completions and SLA adherence.
•    Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to transportation operations, such as on-time delivery performance, transportation costs, and carrier performance metrics. Identify trends and areas for improvement to enhance overall transportation efficiency and effectiveness.
•    Utilize the data available within the TMS to conduct analysis and generate insights that inform transportation planning and decision-making. Leverage data analytics tools to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization within transportation operations.
   

Experience

The successful applicant should meet the following requirements:

•    Graduate engineer or science graduate with experience in area of warehouse, transport or customer operations supply chain and transportation flow design, degree in SCM or related field preferred.
•    Having worked with TMS in a 3PL environment is preferred.
•    Experience of 3 to 5 years
•    Analytical & strong stakeholder management skills
•    Working on ERP system such as SAP and TMS
•    Experience in Digital applications
