Job Purpose

  • This role is to lead all production and operational activities, supervising staff, organizing and monitoring work flow , and ensuring company standards of efficiency and quality.
  • Planning and coordinating work schedules, assignments and production processes to meet production goals
  • Manage plant manufacturing assets, driving improvement in costs, quality and productivity.
  • Provide leadership for the successful in operation & manufacturing

Key Accountabilities

•    Assist Production manager to systemize and controls production related activities at the site to meet objectives and budgets with regard to quality, costs and service.
•    Contributes to successful product volume reallocations and SQCDP KPIs.
•    Co-develops and executes plans related to improving quality, costs, HSE and service in conjunction with the Site Management Team.
•    Participates in the definition of investments for production related activities and equipment.
•    Works with RD&I to enable New Product Initiatives, of which product responsibility is accepted from RD&I after three successful batches.
•    Calls-off all required non-product related resources (Site Operation Consumable & Services and real estate including facilities).

Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering or related fields.
  • New graduated or 1-2 years of experience of related industry experience. (Experience in Chemical plant will be advantaged)
  • Knowledge in production management, quality management systems, SAP, Lean, 5S, TPM knowledge will be advantaged.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate employees at all levels.
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, multitasking, organizational skills, analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with all levels of personnel from workers to top management.
  •  Excellent ability to manage time and resources to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Able to work in shift pattern (Day/Night)
