Job Purpose

1. The Production Scheduler’s main responsibility for ensure site prepare stock to supply customer PO and demand with a very high level of understanding of the tradeoffs between service, stock and transportation costs. 
2. To balance Service, Stock and transportation Cost by understanding and managing all main planning parameters (like Safety Stock, EOQ, etc.) as well as site/vender constraint.
3. Understanding of existing and future capacity and constraints from a venderproduction perspective, and a good understanding of how production capacity can be flexed to meet demand.
4. Owns the MPS for one (or subset off) factory and liaises with the Production Planner to ensure plan is delivered.
5. Monitor daily production planning status and adjust production plan according to customer requirement as well as other issues for maintain %OTIF, %PSP at high level.
6. Inventory control- Stock data analysis, hold reasonable stock level to balance demand VS supply. Minimize ordering cost, stock holding cost and SLOB.  

 

 

Key Accountabilities

1. Make daily and weekly production plan based on Sales F and CS order. Follow up execution of production plan and ensure customer demand is fulfilled timely.
2. Keep close monitoring on sales orders/FCST change and materials consumption movement, adjust FG and material plan to ensure adherence to demand.  
3. Reflect material potential supply risk or issues to relevant Dept. (Such as demand, CS). Cooperate with Demand planner for forecast issue.  
4. Be act as contact window to other functions (production, CS, Demand, Purchasing.) for any abnormal issues  
5. Reviews schedule adherence and improvement
6. Inputs to inventory strategy on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs
7. Finite production and capacity planning based on factory calendars and MOQs
8. Balance service level and inventory against target, while understanding cost impacts on manufacturing
9. Monitor KPI's related to FINI and DC delivered by its production plant vs. targets, initiates actions to resolve issues.
10. Manage the production processes (MPS) resolving exception messages in accordance with S&OP rules.

Experience

1. Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field
2. New graduated or 1-2 years of experience of related industry experience. (Experience in Chemical plant is an advantage)
3. Proficient in Microsoft office applications and SAP
4. Good command of spoken and written English
5. Pro-active and can be able to work under pressure
7. Team Player and Problem solving skills                                                                                                                   
8. Strong interpersonal skill, communication, and good analytical capability
