Job Purpose

  • This role is to lead all production and operational activities, supervising staff, organizing and monitoring work flow , and ensuring company standards of efficiency and quality.
  • Planning and coordinating work schedules, assignments and production processes to meet production goals
  • Manage plant manufacturing assets, driving improvement in costs, quality and productivity.
  • Provide leadership for the successful in operation & manufacturing.

Key Accountabilities

Product & Process:
•    Perform analysis on product mix, raw materials, process parameters – guided by licensor.
•    Develop & own the; capacity modelling, PFD’s size the key equipment.
•    Provide process & product input to the BoD sign off on the control system URS – written by control engineer.
•    Data analysis to identify improvement opportunities; quality, productivity (RFT, MME, BCT)
•    Support new product introduction and scale-up.

Assets:
•    Write the equipment specifications & automation & control strategy & co-create narrative with control engineer.
•    Process input on the layout – responsibility of the Engineering Manager.
•    Detailed engineering; sizing, pressure drop, pump capacity selection – either they do or they validate work of 3rd party.

Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Industrial Engineering or related fields.
  • At least 5 years experience of related process engineer. (Experience in Chemical plant will be advantaged)
  • Knowledge in OEE, Lean, VSM, Kanban, 5S, TPM, work standardization knowledge will be advantaged.
  • Knowledge in process improvement and scale-up process.
  • Knowledge in digital and automation system will be advantaged.
  • Excellent ability to manage time and resources to meet deadlines.
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
