Job Purpose

The ISC Cluster / Site controller acts as a Finance Business Partner to the Sites & Managers in their cluster and supports with the development and execution of the Manufacturing, Supply chain & Site strategy, directly and with the support of their team of manufacturing controllers located across the cluster.
Navigators are enabled to drive performance and add value where it matters most and to support high impact topics across the value chain.
As a member of the regional ISC Finance leadership team, develops and operationalizes the new Regional ISC Finance organization in close alignment with global ISC controllers, and the other finance functional towers (Commercial Control, FP&A and Finance Operations/GBS). 
Supports the Regional Supply Chain controller in local implementation of regional SC projects and initiatives and support the IBP process which also includes the necessary linkages to commercial finance counterparts.

Key Accountabilities

  • As Business Navigators you will be involved with strategy development and its implementation - Identifies opportunities by using financial and market analysis and daring to challenge key assumptions to build the business strategy. Translates the strategy into execution which enables positive choices in order to achieve long term goals
  • Business Navigators will drive performance – This will start with recognizing and ‘owning’ the targets, and being committed to realize them. Engages with the business to monitor performance, identifying risks and opportunities. Proactively anticipates gaps and mobilises the organisation to close them
  • Business Navigators will influence decision making - Develop and drive scenario thinking, to visualize choices to enhance decision-making
  • Business Navigators will drive collaboration and change management - Takes the lead to be a proactive & constructive driving force in collaborating with other functions and with our other finance pillar colleagues. Work to understand the rationale behind transformation, and be a change leader within your organization. Solution-orientated behaviour is needed to help each other solve cross-functional challenges
  • Work with key stakeholders to drive SLOB down, starting with monthly SLOB review and approval. Through involvement in monthly SLOB meetings, understand reasoning for SLOB creation and ways for reducing/eliminating

Experience

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in economics, accounting, business administration or equivalent
  • 10+ years of experience in multiple finance positions in an industrial/manufacturing environment (this very much depends on the site and the profile of the candidate)
  • Independent, self-starting and interested in what is behind the numbers
  • Highly analytical, with problem-solving and pragmatic skills
  • Change and continuous improvement minded, hands-on with a can-do mentality
  • Able to communicate effectively with site management and others on site
  • Strong team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English, both verbal as well as in writing
  • High proficiency in SAP and other business applications
  • High level of customer orientation, strategic orientation, results orientation, change management, ownership and collaboration
