Job Purpose

To provide end to end recruitment support across multiple Business Units and Functions in Country. Will also be responsible for country employer branding activities.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manages the end to end recruitment delivery of allocated vacancies across multiple functions at country level, using all methods available (i.e. direct sourcing, employee referral, social media, etc.)
  • Advises and partners with hiring managers on the most suitable route to attracting and selecting candidates and deliver the agreed solution
  • Builds close working relationships with local HR Business Partners, Centre of Expertise (CoEs) and People Services to support the Business together as a 1HR team
  •     Carries out initial screening and the first interview of shortlisted candidates as required for the vacancies allocated
  •     Tracks agreed local Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) for area of responsibility and to provide timely and accurate reports to the Regional Head Talent Acquisition, along with recommendations for improving performance
  •      Acts as the custodian of allocated targeted areas and proactively build talent pipelines internally and externally through the use of Application Tracking System (ATS) and social media platforms
  •       Responsible for AkzoNobel's Employer Branding at country level in order to achieve our employer of choice objectives
  • Develop communication campaigns to support the talent recruiting strategy and drive candidate attraction through social media, events, partnerships and other channels
  • Apply best practices and approaches from brand marketing, digital media and communications for Talent Acquisition/Human Resources
  • Run campaigns to build brand affinity and advocacy amongst employees; help build Brand Ambassadors program
  • Monitor, measure and constantly improve the effectiveness of employer branding campaigns
  •       Provides appropriate training and support to hiring managers locally to ensure they are competent & skilled in recruiting in line with AkzoNobel processes, best practices and local law
  •       Proactively looks to drive efficiency of process and reduce associated costs
  •       Supports campus recruitment campaigns as required
  •       Stay abreast of local market trends


  • Degree in Human Resources or other related fields
  • At least 7 years of recruitment experience in HR, with at least 3 years in an in-house capacity. Prior experience working in agency would be a plus
  • Proven experience in delivering successful best practices, end to end recruitment campaigns. Prior experience running employer branding related campaigns is a highly preferred
  •  Experience of working with ATS and social media platforms
  • Experience in building, managing and engaging talent pipelines
  • Experience in using analytics as a tool for monitoring performance
  • Knowledge of current local Employment Law relating to recruitment and selection
  • Ability to work with some level of ambiguity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, in both English and native language
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, complex environment
