Job Purpose

Demand forecast

Build forecast (short-term & long-term) in system to trigger internal process
Participate sales plan initiatives to improve forecast accuracy
Feedback customer or market demand, and channels to Demand Hub to improve statistical forecast

SLOB management

Monitor SLOB and follow up consumption actions
Coordinate SLOB preventive actions

IBP process

Lead demand planning activities and monthly DMR process
Assist in deployment of the IBP process in CU

Key interface between Commercial and Supply Chain team to secure supply to customers and markets

Key Accountabilities

“Translate” Sales and Marketing plans into IBP forecast for Aerospace Asia Pacific
Build monthly forecast by using historical sales and inputs from Sales and Marketing, covering 6–36 month period
Look for choosing the most adapted forecasting model per product group and customer group
Refine forecast based on latest information on a day to day basis as close connection with Sales and ISC
Build long-term (3~5 year) forecast with adapted forecasting model and enrichment from Sales and Marketing
Responsible for master data required to perform statistical forecast (e.g. Demand group, SKU data)
Balance safety stock and push delivery from WAU & SSH during supply constraint period
Monitor and identify gaps 1) IBP plan vs budget, 2) actual vs budget & IBP plan
Prepare KPI reporting (i.e. Forecast Accuracy, Bias, Value Added Demand Accuracy, Vulnerabilities and Opportunities, SLOB P&L, Provision), and follow up gaps vs target
Drive inventory & SLOB reduction with preventive actions
Daily liaise with sales team, supply planning team, customer service team, Supply Chain Project Manager to solve day-to-day demand and supply issues.

Experience

At least 3 years relevant experience
Excellent Excel and data analysis skill, and demand forecast system experience is preferred (e.g. OMP)
Effective cross function communication skills
Ability to priorities and re-plan quickly
Able to improve process
Language: English fluent oral and writing; Mandarin
