Job Purpose


The primary purpose of this position is to ensure a smooth logistics delivery service through  monitoring, coordination and good communication with Logistics Service Providers,  customers, Supply Chain organization and all stakeholders involved. Ensuring  order release,   Credit , Debits  Pallet management, receipts & all external GR`s 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Releasing sales orders and coordinating picking and loading activities  
  • Processing and coordinating job lot orders.  
  • Processing customer credits  
  • Coordinating and verifying stock take/cycle count processes  
  • Reconcile invoices with log sheets for Contractor Payments  
  • Make sure all logistics and distribution activities adhere with applicable legislation  · Ensure Logistics Service Provider compliance with AkzoNobel Health, Safety,  
  • Environment and Sustainability requirements. 
  • Monitor quality, quantity, Cross functional collaboration i.e. production, Planning, COS  &  other  sites  etc

 

Experience

 

  • Related Logistics and or Commercial qualification 
  • Strong proven background of operational excellence 
  • Previous experience in managing a national distribution portfolio (regional more than one distribution site)
  • Above average numerical skills i.e.: budgets costings etc.
  • Computer literate: very comfortable dealing with SAP/WMS/MS Office
  • Strong client and service orientation
  • Excellent people and communication skills
