Senior Logistics Control Tower Analyst EMEA

Job Purpose


  • The Control Tower Logistics Analyst will play a key role in implementing and managing control tower solution for the region EMEA.
  • The Control Tower Logistics Analyst will support end-to-end logistics activities to meet cost, service, and quality objectives for assigned warehouses in deployment of control tower.

Key Accountabilities


  • Go-To person for all control tower managed warehouse management activities.
  • Play an active and key role in centralization activities for warehouse management.
  • Support and validate data extraction needed for setting up logistics control tower reporting and analytics
  • Conduct data analyses, design rules & requirements for AkzoNobel technical department, supporting the translation into a usable solution that’s support decisions
  • Data analytics & reporting: Interpret results in a business context, discuss with business partners, and incorporate data-driven decision-making in operations.
  • Effectively partner within peer data scientists, management, and operational users to make data accurate and to make the process to manage data efficient.
  • PMO coordination capabilities to ensure progress while balancing agile working to deliver rapid prototyping and further incremental development of the technical product, with good communication to sponsors and key stakeholders.

  • Validate achieved process performance with meaningful KPIs.
  • Support in deployment of warehouse management process - the KAR includes standardized dashboard design, user requirements consolidation, interface with digital lead and COE on validating the standards / KPI’s.
  • Conduct process confirmation and auditing activities of key L3/L4 processes.
  • Ideation: Identify Continuous Improvements within current tools/systems and use cases.

Experience & Education


  • Bachelors or advanced degree required (Computer Science, Data science, Mathematics, Statistical Science, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or similar)
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain (logistics, transportation management, trade operations, planning)
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and drive process improvements
  • Ability to work with little supervision
  • Experience or exposed to performance measurement, identification & application of error metrics, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement models / frameworks.
  • Basic project management skills and understanding and affinity of Agile working.
  • Ability to operate effectively across different cultures and functions.
  • Strong attention to detail. Be able to work with large datasets
