Resins Capacity Planner

Job Purpose

 

  1. ​​​​​​​Manage the Rough Cut Capacity Plan (RCCP) process and manage planned production capability exceptions
  2. Manage exceptions and other planning activities to ensure SEMI/FINI availability for the master production plan in line with MRP parameters and supplier contracts.
  3. Manage distribution plan capacity, transportation capacity in main flows and manage inventory and orders fluctuations exceptions.
  4. Lead the interface with Manufacturing for sites and the Site Review step in the IBP process.
  5. Provide the Capacity Planning input, both production and logistics, for the IBP and S&OE process. Ensure optimal balancing month after month Plant Load/Capacity and Warehouse Load/Capacity.
  6. Ensure master data correctness & proper housekeeping of transactional data.
  7. Ensure the right network settings (e.g. production/distribution throughout times) and replenishment models are correctly applied in the planning system.
  8. Ensure good communication and integration with other planning teams, manufacturing (scheduling), logistics, customer care and other stakeholders. Drive gate keeping meetings with other departments and support with providing relevant KPI’s to measure performance.
  9. Support projects and process improvement to enhance performance and efficiency of the required planning activities (SLOBs, Inventories and Service across scope site / supply points).

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Create an aggregated (above SKU plan) DSI (Demand, Supply, Inventory) for the IBP horizon
  • Create Region RCCP (x sites).
  • Manage Production Capacity exceptions and build potential mitigation scenarios.
  • Drive Make-Supply Gatekeeping meetings, from supply side, to align on plan deviations/risks.
  • Provide RCCP input to IBP and S&OE governance processes.
  • Manage Warehouse Capacity exceptions and build potential mitigation scenarios. Support on reporting where necessary.
  • Drive Deliver-Supply Gatekeeping meetings, from supply side, to align on plan deviations/risks.
  • Provide Warehouse Capacity input to IBP and S&OE governance processes.
  • Ensure Production and Warehouse capacity settings are maintained and updated in the system.
  • Support projects and process improvement to enhance performance and efficiency of the required planning activities.
  • Ensure the right collaboration with demand management/planning teams, manufacturing and logistics.
  • Manage the supply and replenishments across the whole supply network & review mid term and long term outlook of the supply plan against resources
  • Drive service level (OTIF), while understanding cost impacts on manufacturing.
  • Good understanding of production and distribution throughput times. Ensure replenishment policies are defined and maintained for all SKUs, considering, shipment restrictions, shipment calendar, etc… including inventory stocking policies, safety stock levels on ERP system.
  • Ensure master data correctness & proper housekeeping of transactional data.
  • Work closely together with the plant scheduler to manage the production scheduling and to manage the exceptions. Support the site schedulers and site with analyses when needed to create visibility.
  • Review schedule adherence and drive improvement.
  • Work together with Demand Planners to understand customer requirements and incorporate this in the production plan.
  • Work together with the Material Planner to optimize replenishment strategies for RM required for resins

Experience

 

University Education with at least 3 years’ experience in FMCG, Paint/Coating or Retail industries Supply Chain Improvement or consulting

Education

 

  • Experience on Supply Planning, IBP processes, Planning tools, Supply planning, planning in SAP ECC and BI
  • Change management: ability to manage a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Experience on coordinating teams and managing stakeholders
