Job Purpose

 

The Regional BPO role is a key role in the deployment of the Advanced Planning Transformation aiming to improve our supply planning processes (DRP, PP, MP & DS) to enabled optimized results in Service Level, Inventory position and Costs in our Supply Chain.

As key objective the Regional BPO is to drive maturity in the supply planning teams as a pre-condition to APT. Maturity is expressed in Master Data quality, process adherence and building capability in working with the new processes and system. Moreover, the Regional BPO ensures the integration of key Inventory management process and tools as well as the improvement of IBP Supply & S&OE processes. High-quality stakeholder management (many and highly diverse stakeholders) is essential.

 

Key Activities

 

  • Deployment of processes, governance, systems (SAP, APS and big data analytics), Production & Planning Master data and capability building in Planning.
  • Drive supply planning/Scheduling maturity program linked to the Advance Planning Transformation Program within the region.
  • Acts as touchpoint for senior users and (senior) management to build capability and ensure innovation ideas are embedded appropriately.
  • Drives touchless planning through correct Master data and their further automation.
  • Enable key inventory and IBP Supply/S&OE processes.
  • Develops and deploys materials to build capability in the planning community, including effective embedding in the Knowledge Management System (KMS) as our one source of capability truth.

 

Job Requirements

 

  • Qualifications: MSc in Planning/Supply Chain, Engineering, Data Science, Econometrics or Business Administration.
  • 10-15 years of experience in Supply Chain.
  • Previous experience in: Demand planning, Supply Planning and S&OP / IBP; demonstrated hands-on impact in operations, planning and hands-on exposure to IT/ERP related projects
  • Certification in supply chain expertise (such as APICS CPIM / CSCP) and improvement (such as CI Lead Practitioner, Agile). Experience in project and program management.
  • Strong experience in end-to-end performance measurement, identification & application of error metrics, root-cause analysis, etc.
  • Commercial understanding and business acumen. Experience to facilitate the overall company optimum. Detailed and in depth understanding of ERP system set up (SAP), planning & production master data fields.
  • Background in Advanced Planning Systems (APS) or demonstrated basic skills set to quickly learn and master APS.
  • Background in big data analytics and platforms or demonstrated basic skills set to quickly learn and master this.
