Job Purpose

  • To deploy standard supply planning processes across EMEA Business Units & countries to drive functional excellence
  • To lead step change supply planning projects in the EMEA region.
  • To provide support for the implementation of supply planning improvement projects across EMEA acting as subject matter expert
  • To ensure all the sites/countries provide quality input to ensure adherence of the IBP process in the region.
  • To promote best practices and coach/train the regional supply planning teams within the region.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Assist the Regional Planning Development Manager to standardize and implement the regional planning policies and processes.
  • Lead the deployment of planning primary processes across the region following the standard deployment methodology.
  • Tailor global designs to regional and customer specific characteristics
  • Work on the continuous planning assessment and benchmarking to identify improvement opportunities, including end to end value stream mapping.
  • Work with the global teams to roll out supply planning processes (Eg: IBP, S&OE, MDI process for Supply, Gatekeeping meetings).
  • Work with the regional planning teams and liaise with the central Master Data teams and System Support Experts on the master data update to ensure ERP system runs accurately,
  • Support delivering planning KPIs in EMEA.
  • Act as linking pin between the Design and Deliver teams
  • Provide support to assist the Regional Planning Manager when issues are raised.
  • Represent the supply planning practice in the region and support the enrichment and maintenance of the global knowledge management system

Experience

At least 7 years in Supply Chain function; strong experience in operations, planning and good hands on exposure to IT/ERP related projects

Strong knowledge and experience with SAP preferred.

Strong project management skills and deadline accountability.

Functional excellence & credibility to drive the organization forward.

Ability to operate effectively across different cultures and functions.

Good communication skills, strong command in English.

 

Degree in Science or Engineering

Awareness and compliance with general HSE requirements

Ability to travel 15-25% of time.
