Continuous Improvement Manager
The main purpose for this position will be to facilitate the implementation of the ALPS Process in the site, manage the Continuous Improvement and develop the knowledge of the SITE in CI tools.
About the Role
ALPS Foundations and Primary Processes:
- Facilitate and coordinate CI activities at site, such as Daily Operating reviews and CI workshops, meetings and reviews.
- Give support to the implementation areas.
- Serve as liaison among Implementation Task Forces to coordinate activities across the site and to share resources effectively.
- Coordinate the delivery of training content to shop floor work teams as per the Implementation Plan.
- Review and refine training content with the SSC (Site Steering Committee) and suggest improvements
- Train shop floor work teams and team leaders on best practice principles and concepts.
- Help in the assessment and evaluation of work teams to ensure that learning outcomes have been achieved.
- Coordinate scPrime Assessments in quarterly basis to serve as Report to SMU’s and BA CI Teams.
Profit Improvement Projects:
- Support the Project Leaders in the developments of the Profit Improvement Projects and serve as liaison between them and the Site Steering Committee.
- Manage high level Profit Improvement Projects.
Always complying with the AkzoNobel policies and HSE established rules.
About You
- Experience in Continuous Improvement Programs or Improvement Projects.
- Lean6Sigma manufacturing programmes.
- Previous work experience in functions described.
- Good knowledge of HSE.
- Good knowledge of local manufacturing liquid processes.
- Good skills in people management.
- IT knowledge at user level and capacity to manage a data base, produce Reports and analyze data.
- ScPrime management.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- ToT (train of trainers) certification.
- CIM Expert training and Certification.
