Capacity & Resource Manager

 

The main purpose for this role will be:

 

  1. Manage the Rough Cut Capacity Plan (RCCP) process and manage planned production capability exceptions for Supply Points (x production sites and relevant tollers/TPMs).
  2. Manage distribution plan capacity (x main DC’s – storage, manning), transportation capacity in main flows and manage inventory and orders fluctuations exceptions.
  3. Lead the interface with Manufacturing for sites and the Site Review step in the IBP process.
  4. Provide the Capacity Planning input, both production and logistics, for the IBP and S&OE process. Ensure optimal balancing month after month Plant Load/Capacity and Warehouse Load/Capacity.
  5. Ensure master data correctness & proper housekeeping of transactional data.
  6. Ensure good communication and integration with other planning teams, manufacturing (scheduling), logistics, customer care and other stakeholders. Drive MDI meeting & gate keeping meetings with other departments and support with providing relevant KPI’s to measure performance.
  7. Support projects and process improvement to enhance performance and efficiency of the required planning activities (SLOBs, Inventories and Service across scope site / supply points).

 

About the role

 

  • Create an aggregated (above SKU plan) DSI (Demand, Supply, Inventory) for BU Region for the IBP horizon.
  • Create BU Region RCCP (x sites).
  • Manage Production Capacity exceptions and build potential mitigation scenarios.
  • Drive Make-Supply Gatekeeping meetings, from supply side, to align on plan deviations/risks.
  • Provide RCCP input to IBP and S&OE governance processes.
  • Review BU Region warehouse capacity plan (x main DC’s).
  • Manage Warehouse Capacity exceptions and build potential mitigation scenarios. Support on reporting where necessary.
  • Drive Deliver-Supply Gatekeeping meetings, from supply side, to align on plan deviations/risks.
  • Provide Warehouse Capacity input to IBP and S&OE governance processes.
  • Ensure Production and Warehouse capacity settings are maintained and updated in the system.
  • Develop and implement, together with CI team, detailed plans to improve performance on Production or Warehouse capacity.
  • Ensure the right collaboration with demand management/planning teams, manufacturing and logistics.

 

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Supply bias/ production plan adherence.
  • Plant Load/Capacity– ensure production capacities are optimal balanced within the target range.
  • Warehouse Load/Capacity– ensure warehouse capacities are below agreed threshold.
  • Secondary: OTIF (service) and FMC/OLC (Manufacturing and Logistics Costs).

 

About You

 

  • University Education with at least 6 years’ experience in FMCG, Paint/Coating or Retail industries Supply Chain Improvement or consulting.
  • High level of experience on Supply Planning, IBP processes, Planning tools, Supply planning, planning in SAP ECC and BI.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Change management: ability to manage a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Project Management skills.
  • Focused on results.
  • Good problem-solving skills, able to identify and structure issues, run accurate analyses and synthesize recommendations.
  • Fluent in English.
