Job Purpose

•    To Lead a team of technical service personnel with intimate knowledge of our specialist products with a particular focus on application, installation and the related equipment. 
•    This team is designed to take the lead in the primary practical and hands on technical support of these high value products including training, application support and potential supply and apply applications
•    The TSM in question will be responsible for developing and overseeing the applicator qualification processes and implementing company agreed policy and procedures as they pertain to these specialist products. 
•    They are required to manage the resources of that team from both a scheduling and competency perspective to meet the service activities to the relevant PC business.  
•    Contribute to the SMU CE&S strategy execution plan and take a lead in delivery, support and training in relation to the specialist product “services offer” in the region 
•    Contributes to the execution of sales -, expense - and profitability targets established for the SMU in South Asia by leading work with sales team to identify and secure Fee For Service opportunities, and to manage CE&S team to ensure they are on time, in full and toc client satisfaction.   
•    Ensure implementation of and compliance to all relevant HS&E policies and procedures as they pertain to the Technical Service team.  Drive continuous improvement against all relevant HSE measures and KPI’s. e.g. LSR, BBS submission, GN55 adherence etc.

Key Accountabilities

•    Fully operational, competent and timely service to the PC Business and its customers in technical service disciplines.  Ensuring operations are in budget whilst achieving all necessary strategic customer-facing charged and non-chargeable services.  
•    Manage team of technical service personnel, including scheduling availability and competency demands to meet all service activities to the PC business
•    Ensure Fee For Service opportunities are adequately supported 
•    Team competency levels are continually developed and maintained
•    Reporting of all activities, FFS, requirements, HSE and any other as required
•    Guidance, mentoring, quality control of technical work and documentation of the team
•    Lead and improve all HSE initiatives and policies, including all relevant training in date

Experience

•    Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Engineering or relevant major.
•    Time management capability
•    Demonstrated capability in Scheduling and project planning and general resource planning
•    Strong English language capability written and spoken
•    At least 5 years’ technical service experience and 2 years in managerial position with strong management skills and problem-solving skills.
•    Qualification to Minimum NACE CIP level 2 or industry equivalent
•    In-depth knowledge in products, specifications, application and market.
•    Strong strategic, communication and presentation skills
•    Good commercial awareness
