1. Purpose of the job

 

 

What is the primary purpose of this job? Describe main objectives.

 

  • To Drive Marine & Protective Coatings Sales Bangalore through direct customers & distributors in high growth geography across the Region.

 

 

2. Key responsibilities

 

  • Describe the responsibilities and accountabilities of the job. Which tasks is the job holder responsible for? What results are to be achieved?

 

  • Achieve annual sales in terms of Revenue and contribution margin budgets
  • Prepare and monitor annual budgets of Marine & Protective Coatings.
  • Managing the sales & Business development of Karnataka
  • Achieving the revenue and CM target
  • Effectively manage credits to customers & distributors i.e. Reducing the OD% and managing Bad debts.
  • Screening customer base for new opportunities, generates leads and maintains pipeline. identify new potential customers and new market opportunities
  • Provide appropriate and agreed levels of contact, service and support to ensure sales targets are met.
  • Maintaining and growing business in Infra projects , OEM
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
  • To Promote the positive company image and develops long-term relations with the customers.
  • Channel Partner management & drive business through distributor Network.
  • Develop strong working relationships with customers & Distributors.
  • Build/maintain expert knowledge on the features/benefits of available products/services
  • Co-ordinating with Stake Holder & ensuring for On-Time deliveries to customers.
  • Extending support to team members as & when required.
