Job Purpose

EHS requirements (15%)

Key Activities

Comply with EHS requirements
Report weekly
Implement QC inspections/testing
Check Lab Work Sheet
Support to solve problem batches and improvement plan
Implement ISO, ALPS, PSM and SAQ and other Company program to be integrated into QC process
Report non-conformance to specification and procedures.
To check on the complaints from the customer and to handle the Complaint Report
Leading improvement projects (Kaizen blitz, Yellow belt level) in QA/QC department
Learn & fix equipment owner by themselves.
Improve spraying skills to reduce quantity of panel used for 1 testing round
Work with production operators to manage quantity chip/powder sampling/sample to reduce wastage due to over sampling quantity
Make sure 100% samples testing & release OTIF with accuracy data to avoid samples testing waiting time which contribute for OEE.
Partners with production to conduct daily PGR report for abnormal products during working shift.
Quick learn for all new technology & share knowledge among team
Learn & can test sample for all process of Extruder, Milling, Dry blending. Bonding
Set up personal development plan

Experience

Ability to read & understand all of chemical materials sheets (MSDS/ HMIS…)
Ability to operate all of machines/ equipment in own responsibility scope.
Minimal of 2+ years of working experience in Coating business (refer as advantage)
Have good understanding and knowledge on coatings (refer as advantage)
Able to write and speak basic English.
Good analytical mind.
Able to work independently.
Able to write report.
Sensitive to color, able to see/differentiate color and good in color adjustments

Education

Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Coatings...
