Key Activities

HSES & statutory compliance:

  • Actively participate company's initiatives on HSE 
  • Set up reasonable and measurable annual goal with line manager and achieve it.
  • Set up high standards of performance for self, colleagues and company.
  • An element owner in the HSE SAQ process.
  • Technical knowledge required to adequately manage the integrity of critical equipment

Site Responsible Engineer (SRE) for:

  • Critical equipment (CE) identification
  • Specifying proper operating and design limits for CE
  • Appropriate design standards and materials of construction are used for CE
  • CE is properly inspected and maintained according to set schedules
  • Ensure any modifications on CE follow through the MOC procedure.
  • SRE is responsible for SAQ 3.2- Management of Change; SAQ 5.2- Contractor Safety; SAQ 6.1- Process Safety Management; SAQ 6.2- Equipment operation, maintenance and integrity; SAQ 8.6- Energy management & carbon footprint 
  • Developing and maintaining a working knowledge of applicable local regulations and other relevant PSM code change.

LSR owner of Equipment:

  • LSR owner for communication. Ensure that all employees/temporary workers/contractors in his department are fully train in the LSR and validated before starting work. SOPs are available for all LCP
  • Ensures that site maintenance operations are planned and executed in accordance with timing, quality and costs objectives.
  • Manages capex plan on behalf of Site Manager and delivers project studies, pre-projects and capital project at quality, in time and within budget.
  • Develops and manages the Maintenance and Engineering budget (costs, quality, service & HSE) including cost allocation model.
  • Ensures timely and accurate availability of reports and metrics required to manage M&E costs and service.
  • Owner for PSSR (Pre Start up Safety Review) execution
  • SRE as HS Leader responsible for the site.

  • Acts as an ambassador and creates an open environment in which the team as a whole and its members individually can perform at their best.
  • Simulates, manages and follows through on employee engagement and builds on the workforce to reflect the societies and markets in which we do business (D&I).
  • Ensures that job profiles are in place, sets objectives for team members, reviews development and provides clear, open and constructive feedback on performance combined with the appropriate actions.
  • Strengthens the talent pipeline by developing talent and regularly assesses and discusses talent and internal movement. Continuously monitors and evaluates retention risk.
  • Ensures reporting line is fully informed and acts in line with HSE and Compliance regulations.
  • Manages and plans relevant budgets and proactively manages costs.

Drive Continuous improvement:

  • The M&E manager is a key driver and best placed to continuously improve the overall long term maintenance costs and maintenance replacement capex requirements. A year-on-year improvement is expected from the elimination of bad actors, optimizing the maintenance concept, and modification/selection of appropriate equipment configuration/materials.

Experience

  • 5-7 year of experience in relevant position at a manufacturing company
  • Good at word, excel, power point, AutoCAD.
  • Experience in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, TPM.
  • Experience with practical implementation of change programs a plus· Experience with practical implementation of change programs a plus
  • Solid project and stakeholder management experience.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and conflict resolution skills on all organizational levels; ability to gain respect and trust through situational leadership and integrity and inspire others to follow and participate in the change process
  • Able to multi-task in high-pressure environments.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • Risk-friendly and self-directed, able to take a decision quickly within uncertainty.
  • Comfortable in quickly changing environments with steep learning curve.
  • Passionate about change and striving for exceptional performance.

Education

  • University or master degree, mechanical or electrical Engineering are preferred.
