 Purpose of the job

Apodaca is currently serving the automotive business and the “ticket to play” needed to penetrate and endure the market is to have the IATF16949 Certificate and a robust response system to customer complaints.

 

The Monterrey Site Sales strategy is also looking to sell to the wheels and automotive market segments that is in an early stage of exploitation.

 

Therefore, it is essential to have this position who obtains the best practices from both sites and translates them into a more innovative and efficient quality system platform.

 

 

 

 

Key responsibilities

 

 

  • Ensure the implementation and compliance of the quality system (IATF 16949), environmental and hygiene that promotes continuous improvement in manufacturing sites in Mexico
  • Follow the quality, environmental and hygiene strategy of the BU.
  • Ensure compliance with the policy, directives and management systems of Quality, Health and Environment of the BU, in the assigned area.
  • Give support to all areas of Mexican legal entities from a quality system perspective.
  • Coordinate both internal and external claims to ensure the efficient management of corrective and preventive actions in terms of quality, environment, safety and hygiene.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through compliance with their requirements and expectations. Respond to the findings derived from customer audits.

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from four –year college or university is required or 5+ years of production/manufacturing/quality experience
  • Knowledge of quality assurance lab activities and procedures, technical knowledge of coatings
  • Supervisor skills 2+ years
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point, Sharepoint, and SAP
  • Experience/familiarity with Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing principles beneficial.
